Bijni Bidyapith H.S. School, the leading provincialised Bengali medium educational institution of Bijni Sub-Division in the district of Chirang, (BTR) Assam, was founded on 28th January in the year 1957 with a view to cater the demand of large section of Bengali Diaspora residing in the locality for a long period of time.
The school was upgraded from high to higher secondary in the year 1985 and it was amalgamated in the year 2017 comprising of classes KA Shreni to XII. It is worthwhile to mention that unlike Bengali, which is the medium of instruction up to class X, Assamese is the sole medium of instruction in classes XI and XII.
